Solange Toure, LMHC

Hi, my name is Solange Toure, and I’m so excited to meet you! I was raised in Rhode Island in a Cape Verdean American immigrant family, and my background deeply influences the culturally sensitive and inclusive approach I bring to therapy. While I’ve always had a passion for the health field, I discovered my love for mental health during college and have been dedicated to this work ever since.

I have experience providing counseling to adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, suicidal ideation, trauma, relationship challenges, self-image issues, and grief. I’m passionate about supporting individuals in identifying their strengths and embracing their unique qualities. I encourage my clients to express their emotions, communicate their needs, and step into their most authentic selves.

My approach is person-centered and tailored to each individual. I often integrate techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy to support clients in reaching their goals. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space for people of all cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions, gender identities, traditions, and values.

I truly believe every person has the freedom and power to shape their life journey. I would be honored to hear your story, explore meaningful changes with you, and help identify patterns that may no longer serve you. Let’s work together to help you thrive and feel empowered to live your most genuine life.

Looking forward to connecting with you!
